Kevin McCarthy pitched a scoreless seventh inning on Friday in Houston. He worked around a pair of free passes and didn't record a strikeout.
Fantasy Impact:
McCarthy was considered the favorite for saves in Kansas City after Kelvin Herrera was traded to Washington, but Tim Hill got the call in this one, and was effective. Ned Yost will probably take a hot hand, closer-by-committee approach, so McCarthy may still see some save opportunities. But it's a fluid situation right now, and one fantasy owners will want to avoid if possible.
