Ryan Borucki surrenders two-earned in debut loss to Astros

by Israel Katz | Tue, Jun 26th 11:00pm EDT

Borucki threw six strong innings in his debut Tuesday, giving up two earned runs, six hits, walking four, and striking out three in the Blue Jays 7-0 loss to th Houston Astros.

Fantasy Impact:

Borucki had a 3.27 ERA and a 1.17 WHIP in 13 minor league games this season and with the lack of strong strike out numbers he does not seem to have much fantasy value. At best, Borucki is a back of the rotation type of starter on the major league level all the more so in fantasy baseball. If Borucki can put together some solid outings he might have matchup value but outside of that he shouldn’t be looked at as a fantasy asset.
