A.J. Ellis continues to produce for the Padres in a back-up roll. He went 1-for-3 with an RBI, a run scored, and a walk in Sunday’s loss to the Pirates.
Fantasy Impact:
Ellis continues to be one of the best backup catchers in the big leagues. He is now slashing .319/.422/.407 on the season. Ellis has 10 RBI, nine runs scored and one home run in 33 games this season.
