Juan Minaya pitched an effective two innings on Monday against the Twins.
He faced three batters in the seventh and struck out all three. He then fanned Eddie Rosario to start the eighth, retired Jorge Polanco, then whiffed Miguel Sano. Those five Ks in one appearance set a new career-high for Minaya. He's had a tough season, but outings like this show his potential. He could be a guy to keep an eye on for future years.
