Pedro Payano optioned to the minors

Pedro Payano (1-2) was hit with the loss after surrendering eight runs (five earned) on five hits and three walks while striking out three over 3 1/3 innings in Thursday's 13-6 loss to the Twins. He took his second loss of the season and was optioned to Triple-A Nashville following the game. (TR Sullivan on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
Payano was demoted to the minors after imploding in Thursday's loss. He yielded five runs in the second inning, one in the third and two in the fourth prior to exiting. The Rangers have yet to make a corresponding move.
