Tim Federowicz had his contract selected from Triple-A Nashville ahead of Friday's game against the Athletics. He did not play in Friday's 8-0 loss to the Athletics. (John Blake on Twitter)

Federowicz slashed .169/.224/.366 with four homers and seven RBI over 28 games this season with Texas. He figures to come off the bench.
