Nick Tepesch rebounds with nice outing Thursday
by Mitch Cox | Thu, Mar 12th 11:14pm EDT
Nick Tepesch bounced back from a rough debut to toss 3 1/3 scoreless innings in the Rangers 7-3 victory over the Chicago White Sox today. Tepesch, who allowed seven runs in 1 1/3 innings last week against the Giants, took the mound in the fourth and surrendered just three hits and a walk. (www.mlb.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Tepesch showed much better command with his pitches than last week and it showed in the results. A candidate for the fifth spot in the rotation, Tepesch replaced another candidate for the slot, Anthony Ranaudo, who left his start early with elbow discomfort.
