Fantasy Impact:
Cabrera signed a minor league contract with the Mets in late June but didn't last long. He got some work at first base, in addition to his usual outfield position, during summer camp but apparently didn't perform well. New York signed Juan Lagares to a minor league contract prior to releasing Cabrera.
