Carl Edwards Jr. recorded a hold and allowed zero hits with a strikeout across two thirds of an inning of work in the Mariners' 8-5 win over the Los Angeles Angels on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact:
Edwards recorded his first hold with his new team on Thursday and continues to progress after a disastrous 2019 campaign derailed his promising career. The right-hander only holds value in leagues that count holds but has a chance to climb the ladder in Seattle or elsewhere if traded at the deadline.
