Fantasy Impact:
Pearson, a first-round pick for the Blue Jays in 2017, made his MLB debut earlier this season. He is a hard throwing righty who mostly throws a fastball-slider combo but can also mix in a change-up and curveball. Pearson's average fastball velocity of 96.1 MPH is top ten among qualified starters. In 12-team standard redraft leagues, when healthy, Pearson can be streamed in good match-ups.
