Left-handed reliever Josh Osich has been traded from the Boston Red Sox to the Chicago Cubs in exchange for a player to be named later. (Jon Heyman on Twitter)

The Cubs wanted to add a left-handed reliever and have now added two in Chafin and Osich. In 13 appearances this season, Osich has a 5.74 ERA and 20 strikeouts in 15 2/3 innings.
