Fantasy Impact:
Samardzija has been out since August eighth with a shoulder injury but has been ramping up at the Giants' alternate site with some simulate game work. He's registered a 9.88 ERA and 1.61 WHIP in 13 2/3 innings pitched this season. He's not a streaming candidate if he does end up starting on Friday.
