Jeff Samardzija goes three innings in Game 2 of Friday doubleheader

Jeff Samardzija surrendered three runs on three hits with one walk and one strikeout in his first start since being activated from the IL with a shoulder issue.
Fantasy Impact:
Samardzija was on a pitch count considering he was making his first appearance since August eighth. He got through the first two inning unscathed and then gave up an RBI single and two-run blast to Fernando Tatis Jr. in the third. Shark finishes the regular season with a rough 9.27 ERA, 1.50 WHIP, and a 6:4 K/BB ratio over 16 2/3 innings (four starts). He'll likely pitch out of the bullpen if the Giants were to make the postseason.
