Louis Coleman placed on waivers

The Royals have placed reliever Louis Coleman on waivers as their bullpen takes shape for the start of the season. Coleman was out of options, so he must clear waivers before being assigned to AAA Omaha. He had a 3.55 ERA in 12 2/3 innings of work this spring. (royalsreview.com)
