Steve Cishek opts out of deal with Astros

The move even came as a surprise to manager Dusty Baker, who said on Friday that he had not yet made a decision on whether the 34-year-old would make the Opening Day roster. Regardless, Cishek is now a free agent and can sign with any teaam. He owns an impressive 2.78 ERA through 576 innings (594 games) over 11 seasons. He has posted sub-3.00 ERAs in eight of those years.
