Kevin Ginkel credited with a blown save on Tuesday

RHP Kevin Ginkel was given a blown save after he coughed up one earned run with two strikeouts over 2/3 of an inning in the Diamondbacks 7-5 loss to the A's on Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Ginkel was handed a tough draw on Tuesday as he entered the game in the top of the seventh inning with one out and two runners on base. Taylor Clarke created quite a mess before Ginkel came on to relieve him but the D-Backs still held a 5-2 advantage. He struck out Ramon Laureano for out number two before serving up a wall scraping, three-run home run to Jed Lowrie. He eventually got out of the inning but was given a blown save. The closer situation in Arizona is unsettled and Ginkel could be in line to get some save opportunities once Arizona enters the ninth inning with a three-run lead, which hasn't happened over the last five games.
