Fantasy Impact:
After trading veteran left-handed reliever Matt Strahm to Kansas City on Friday morning, the Phillies wasted little time in acquiring another lefty for their bullpen. Backhus got his first taste of the bigs with Arizona in 2025, posting a 4.62 ERA with a couple of saves across 32 relief appearances.
