Adam Jones went 1-for-4 with a homer, a walk, two RBI, and two runs scored as the Diamomdbacks beat the Braves 3-2 on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact: Jones is now hitting .319 with five homers and a .999 OPS. The veteran outfielder is bound to regress soon, but fantasy owners should ride the hot streak for however long it lasts.

Zack Godley received a no-decision on Wednesday in Atlanta, throwing six innings of two-run ball while striking four four.

Fantasy Impact: Godley walked two and allowed five hits as Arizona went on to win 3-2. The 28-year-old has had two clunkers this year so his ERA sits at 6.26 still. He's an uninspiring fantasy option in his next start versus the Pirates.

Greg Holland struck out two and allowed one hit in a scoreless ninth to earn his fourth save of the year on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact: Holland has yet to give up a run this season and is the locked in closer for the D'Backs. His performance in this one helped Arizona beat Atlanta 3-2.

Eduardo Escobar went 2-for-4 with two singles, two RBI, and a run scored in the D'Backs' 9-6 win over the Braves on Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact: It has been a slow start to the year for the 30-year-old infielder. Escobar is now batting .234 with a .663 OPS and one homer. He hit 23 long balls last season after belting 21 the year prior, so it's not time to fully panic on him just yet.

Wilmer Flores went 2-for-5 with two singles, one RBI, and one run scored as the Diamondbacks beat the Braves 9-6 on Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact: Flores is now hitting just .217 with a .548 OPS. His playing time has been more sporadic than many thought entering the season, which means he's a fantasy afterthought right now.

Christian Walker collected three hits and walked once in Tuesday's 9-6 win over the Braves, including his fifth homer of the year.

Fantasy Impact: Walker drove in two runs and scored twice in one of his best games of the year. The 28-year-old was a popular waiver pickup following Jake Lamb's injury, and he's now hitting .294 with a 1.035 OPS. If Walker continues to hit like this Arizona will be forced to give him significant playing time if and when Lamb returns.

Robbie Ray received a no-decision in Tuesday's win over the Braves, allowing five runs on seven hits over six innings.

Fantasy Impact: The Diamondbacks eventually won this one 9-6. Ray walked four and struck out four. The biggest disappointment comes from the lack of K's, as even when Ray is ineffective he'll at least pile up strikeouts. The southpaw will carry a 4.64 ERA into his next start versus the Cubs.

Ketel Marte went 2-for-4 with a homer, a single, and two RBI as the Diamondbacks beat the Padres 8-4 on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact: The 25-year-old now has four homers, 13 RBI, and two steals on the year. He's batting .254 with a .758 OPS and should be a decent power/speed option for fantasy owners this season.

David Peralta hit a pinch-hit, three-run homer in Sunday's 8-4 win over the Padres on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact: It's the second homer of the year for the 31-year-old outfielder. Peralta broke out last season and he's off to a nice start here in 2019. Peralta is now hitting .373 with a .997 OPS.

Zack Greinke improved to 2-1 on Sunday versus the Padres, allowing just two runs on four hits over seven innings as the Diamondbacks won 8-4.

Fantasy Impact: Greinke struck out six and walked one in the outing. Both runs he gave up were solo homers. The 35-year-old had a disastrous Opening Day start but has now thrown three straight quality starts. Fantasy owners should feel good about him as an SP2.

Nick Ahmed went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI, and a run scored in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Padres.

Fantasy Impact: Ahmed is off to the best offensive start to his career, hitting .310 with a .789 OPS, one homer, two steals, and 12 runs scored. The 29-year-old is playing everyday and is worth owning in deeper leagues.

Carson Kelly went 1-for-4 with a double, a run scored, and an RBI as the Diamondbacks fell to the Padres 5-4 on Saturday.

Fantasy Impact: Kelly entered the season with upside in two-catcher leagues but simply isn't hitting enough to be excited about. The 24-year-old is posting a .602 OPS right now and has yet to homer.

Merrill Kelly allowed four runs on eight hits over five innings as the Diamondbacks lost to the Padres 5-4 on Saturday.

Fantasy Impact: Kelly received a no-decision as he struck out five while walking one. The 30-year-old right-hander was fantastic in his last start versus the Red Sox so it's a bummer he couldn't keep things rolling here. He'll carry a 3.79 ERA into his next start versus the Cubs.

Luke Weaver took the loss on Friday versus San Diego, throwing 6 1/3 innings of two-run ball while striking out eight.

Fantasy Impact: It's a tough luck loss for Weaver in his best start of the year. To be fair he struggled in two starts versus the Dodgers and Red Sox. He'll carry a 5.17 ERA into his next start versus the Braves.

Archie Bradley allowed one run on two hits on Thursday against the Padres. He struck out two and took the loss, falling to 0-1.

Fantasy Impact: Bradley continues to allow too many base-runners, now 12 in just seven innings. With Greg Holland off to a solid start, Bradley does not figure to be in the closer's mix anytime soon, and can safely be dropped in all formats.

Rookie right-hander Jon Duplantier was sent down to Triple-A Reno so he can continue to develop as a starter, according to Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo. (Source: Steve Gilbert on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Duplantier threw four scoreless innings out of the bullpen in his first taste of the Major Leagues, but the Diamondbacks want him to remain on the path to eventually joining their starting rotation. The Diamondbacks' number one pitching prospect according to MLB.com, Duplantier posted a 2.69 ERA with over a strikeout per inning in 14 starts at Double-A last season. File his name away in fantasy leagues.

Jarrod Dyson hit a pinch-hit, walk-off homer to give the Diamondbacks a 5-4 win over the Rangers on Tuesday night.

Fantasy Impact: Impressively the homer came off Rangers close Jose Leclerc. Dyson now has two long balls on the season and has his average up to .350 to go along with one steal. He's a deep league option for anyone in need of stolen bases.

Alex Avila will be placed onto the Injured List with a left quad strain. It is unclear how long the veteran backstop will be injured. (Source: Nick Piecoro on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: With Avila shelved, the Diamonbacks have recalled utility player Tim Locastro from Triple-A. Locastro has minimal experience and is still considered a rookie. He has appeared in 21 games, with 14 plate appearances where has slashed .182/.357/.273/.630.

Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo confirmed that Lamb has a Grade 2 strain of his left quad and will miss roughly six weeks. (Source: Nick Piecoro on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Here we go again. Lamb was limited to just 56 games last season due to a shoulder injury that required surgery, and now he'll miss another sizeable chunk of time. Christian Walker will likely see the bulk of playing time in Lamb's absence and is worth a look if you're in need of 1B depth.

Steven Souza Jr will miss the 2019 season after undergoing surgery to repair a torn ACL, torn LCL, and partially torn PCL in his left knee. (Source: Arizona Diamondbacks on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: The news is a huge blow to the Diamondbacks and fantasy owners as Souza was among the top 300 players in FantasyPros Expert Consensus Rankings (ECR). Hopefully the power hitter can return to the field and stay on it for the 2020 season but he won't be helping any teams this year. Adam Jones will now be in a full-time role in the outfield with this news.
