In five seasons in the desert, McCarthy hit .260 with 24 home runs and 83 stolen bases in 431 career games. The speedy outfielder should have an everyday role in the Colorado lineup and has the potential to hit 10-15 home runs and swipe 30-35 bags with a starting job.
