Fantasy Impact: Arenado launched a grand slam off Brent Headrick in the fifth inning to give the Diamondbacks a 6-4 lead. It was his 27th blast on the season.

Corbin Burnes allowed four runs on five hits over 2 2/3 innings with two strikeouts and two walks in a no-decision on Sunday against the Yankees.

Fantasy Impact: Burnes had thrown two scoreless frames before getting crushed for three home runs in the third inning alone. He is currently scheduled to face the Padres next.

Pavin Smith hit a pinch-hit, walk-off home run on Saturday against the Yankees.

Fantasy Impact: Smith hit a walkoff two-run homer off Michael Fulmer in the bottom of the ninth inning. He’s 5-for-15 with two long balls since being called up a week ago.

Brandon Pfaadt allowed one run on four hits over 4 1/3 innings with three strikeouts and one walk in a no-decision on Saturday against the Yankees.

Fantasy Impact: Pfaadt was pulled for Justin Martinez in the fifth inning. He is slated to face the Padres next.

The Diamondbacks sent RHP Derek Law outright to Triple-A Reno.

Fantasy Impact: Law will remain in the Diamondbacks organization.

Corbin Carroll went 2-for-4 with a home run in the Diamondbacks 9-2 loss on Friday against the Yankees.

Fantasy Impact: Carroll hit a two-run blast in the second inning with Arizona trailing 5-0. He was the lone bright spot in the loss for the Diamondbacks.

Eduardo Rodriguez allowed seven runs on five hits over 5 1/3 innings with five strikeouts and four walks in a loss on Friday against the Yankees.

Fantasy Impact: Rodriguez struggled out of the gate as he allowed five runs before leaving the first inning. He'll look to bounce back against the Rockies.

Merrill Kelly allowed four runs (three earned) on seven hits over 4 2/3 innings with nine strikeouts and two walks in a loss on Wednesday against the Marlins.

Fantasy Impact: Kelly allowed a pair of runs in both the second and third frames with one of them being unearned. He'll look to bounce back against the Rockies.

The Diamondbacks activated RHP Ryne Nelson from the 60-day injured list.

Fantasy Impact: Nelson missed the last few months with an elbow strain. He'll likely return to the Diamondbacks in a relief role.

Gabriel Moreno went 2-for-4 with a home run in the Diamondbacks 4-2 loss on Tuesday against the Marlins.

Fantasy Impact: Moreno also reached base two more times on a pair of walks. He is up to 14 long balls on the season.

Michael Soroka allowed one run on two hits over five innings with six strikeouts and one walk in a no-decision on Tuesday against the Marlins.

Fantasy Impact: Soroka was making his first start back in the Diamondbacks starting lineup. The lone knock against him was a solo home run.

Fantasy Impact: Sanchez was claimed off waivers by the Diamondbacks on Monday and will start at DH for his new club Tuesday night. Sanchez hit .260 with eight homers across 269 at-bats with the Blue Jays before being designated for assignment last week.

Fantasy Impact: Troy will be the odd man out in Arizona, as the Diamondbacks are activating Jesus Sanchez, whom they recently acquired off waivers. Troy has played in 45 games for the Diamondbacks so far this year, posting a .638 OPS with four homers.

Lars Nootbaar went 3-for-5 with a home run in the Diamondbacks 8-7 win over the Marlins on Monday.

Fantasy Impact: Nootbaar tied the game in the third inning with a two-run blast off Sandy Alcantara. He also added a pair of singles on the night.

The Diamondbacks recalled INF Jose Fernandez from Triple-A Reno.

Fantasy Impact: Fernandez will return to the majors. Lourdes Gurriel Jr. was designated for assignment as the corresponding move.

The Diamondbacks optioned C/DH Adrian Del Castillo to Triple-A Reno.

Fantasy Impact: Del Castillo will return to Triple-A.

The Diamondbacks recalled 1B Tyler Locklear from Triple-A Reno and placed him on the 60-day injured list with a fractured thumb.

Fantasy Impact: Locklear will be done for the season. Arizona selected the contract of Pavin Smith as the corresponding move.
