Yankees' first baseman Chris Gittens receives the call up to the majors on Saturday. At Triple-A in 2021, Gittens hit four home runs, 16 runs, and 11 RBI with a triple-slash of .283/.486/.585. (Lindsey Adler on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Gittens crushes baseballs sitting at 6-foot-4 and 250-pounds. Per FanGraphs, Gittens has 80-grade raw power, which is just ridiculous. He's a name to monitor in deep leagues if he mashes since Luke Voit is on the injured list. However, Gittens is a bit older at 27 years old, so not a top prospect by any means.
