Christian Walker reaches three times in loss
by Jon Mathisen | Diamondbacks Correspondent | Wed, Jun 30th 5:09pm EDT
First baseman Christian Walker went 3-for-5 with a run scored and a strikeout as the Diamondbacks lost to the Cardinals 7-4 on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact:
Walker was one of two D-Backs to notch multiple hits on the day and the only to collect three base knocks. He came around to score off of a Daulton Varsho walk in the eighth inning as the D-Backs attempted to mount a comeback. The 30-year-old first baseman is starting to pick things up at the plate after a brutal start to the year. He's slashing .407/.448/.704 over the last seven games and has a .230/.277/.358 batting line to go along with four home runs and 18 RBI over 165 at-bats this season.
