Bryan Abreu survives rocky save as Ks pile up
by Chris Schommer | Astros Correspondent | Thu, Apr 2nd 11:07am EDT
Bryan Abreu struck out three batters while allowing one earned run on one hit to earn the save in Wednesday's 6-4 win over the Red Sox.
Fantasy Impact:
Abreu has struggled when called upon out of the Houston bullpen to begin the season, allowing runs in all three of his relief appearances. The right-hander’s leash continues to shorten while beginning the season as the closer for manager Joe Espada, posting a 2.57 WHIP to go along with a 1.50 K/BB ratio with one save so far this season.
