Cleveland right-hander J.C. Mejia allowed six runs over 2 2/3 innings in an 8-1 loss to the Rays in Game 1 of a Wednesday doubleheader. Mejia struck out two and walked two in the loss.
Fantasy Impact:
Mejia struggled, allowing three runs in the first inning and three in the third. The rookie hurler has had difficulties acclimating to the big leagues, posting a 1-4 record, 7.42 ERA, and 1.35 WHIP over 30 1/3 innings of work.
