Rockies reliever Jhoulys Chacin allowed one run in the top of the 10th inning against the Dodgers on Tuesday evening. The run was unearned since it came in the form of the free runner placed on second base in extra innings. He also allowed one hit and recorded one strikeout en route to earning the loss. Colorado ultimately fell to Los Angeles by a score of 4-3 in 10 innings.
Chacin is now 3-2 with a 4.32 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, and .221 OBA through 41 games this season. Interestingly, despite recording the loss, Chacin snapped a three-game streak in which he had allowed at least one earned run in every outing.
