Josh Rogers surrendered one run on two hits and no walks while striking out two in two innings during Friday;s 8-3 loss to the Marlins.

Rogers drew the start in the spring opener Friday. The 27-year-old lefty spent the final month of last season in the Nationals rotation and is looking to win a spot from the outset this year. Over six starts in 2021, Rogers recorded a 3.28 ERA, 1.29 WHIP, and 22-to-14 K/BB ratio across 35.2 innings.
