Domingo German should begin rehab assignment soon

German was thought to be headed to a minor league rehab start after throwing three live innings last week, but the team stated he wasn't quite ready. German will most likely stay in the minors for an extended period to stretch out as a starter before returning to the Yankees staff that leads all of baseball with an era of 2.84. Because of the unknown length of his rehab, it is difficult to suggest stashing German in 10- or 12-team leagues unless you have an abundance of IL spots available.
