Frank Schwindel exited Friday’s game against Atlanta in the 2nd inning with a leg injury as reported by NBC Sports Chicago’s Tim Stebbins. (Tim Stebbins on Twitter)

Schwindel exited early on Friday when he came up limping after running out a ground ball in his first at-bat: There is speculation it’s a hamstring based off his reaction to the injury but no official word yet. Schwindel was replaced by P.J. Higgins who could be the beneficiary of more at-bats if Schwindel has to miss time.
