Justin Upton called up to Mariners Friday

The Mariners have called up Justin Upton from AAA Tacoma. Sam Haggerty has been optioned in a corresponding move. (Ryan Divish on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Upton will see his first big league action in 2022 after being released by the Angels in early April. He has a chance to see consistent playing time with both Mitch Haniger and Kyle Lewis out, but we'll have to wait and see how things play out on the field. Upton hit .211 with a .705 OPS in 2021.
