David Fletcher begins hitting this week

Fantasy Impact:
This is great news for fantasy managers who were able to hold or stash Fletcher after his surgery in May. He was cleared to play catch three weeks ago and his transition to hitting on the field is a positive step in the right direction. Fletcher will likely go out on a rehab assignment prior to being activated off the 60-day IL when eligible. He started off 2022 terribly, but that was likely due to his injury issues. In 2021 he slashed .262/.297/.324 with 27 doubles and 47 RBIs. If he is still available in your league, he is worth a speculative add.
