On Sunday, the New York Mets beat the Atlanta Braves 10-8 in what was a wild game. The Braves jumped out to eight run lead through four innings, but the Mets battled to tie the game in the fifth and then take the lead in the same inning. But Dillion Gee continued to struggle, he lasted just 3 2/3 innings, giving up eight runs on eleven hits, while striking out four and walking one.
Gee has struggled this season a great deal, he is 0-3 with five no decisions. He has a 5.90 ERA in 39 2/3 innings pitched, and 25 strikeouts. Gee has had a tough season, and seems to be getting hit around every time he starts a game. They have tried to get Gee going but he has not been able to get out of the gate. If you have him I think that it is time to drop him and look for a replacement. He is doing way more harm then good, I would stay away from Gee and look to replace him with a pitcher like Eduardo Rodriguez. Rodriguez has a very small sample size in the Majors, but has tremendous up side and has looked good in his four starts. It'll be interesting to see what the Mets do with the struggling Gee.
