Max Meyer placed on IL on Sunday

Fantasy Impact:
This is a tough break for the highly-touted young pitcher, as he was playing in just his second major league game and had to leave in the first inning. This injury is of concern since Meyer missed time in the minor leagues earlier this year with the same issue. He'll sit out for a couple of weeks and if all goes well could return to the team sometime in August. In his two starts, he produced a 7.50 ERA and 1.50 WHIP with six strikeouts across six innings of work.
