Bryan Garcia threw four shutout innings in a 5-3 loss to the Rays on Friday. Garcia allowed one hit while striking out three and walking six. He wound up taking a no-decision in the start.
Fantasy Impact:
Garcia pitched well aside from the six walks. The veteran hurler really struggled with his command, throwing just 36 of 72 pitches for strikes. Garcia has now made two starts for Detroit in 2022, allowing two runs over 7 2/3 innings of work.
