Fantasy Impact:
Giles appeared in just five games for the Mariners this season, but was placed on IL in early July with right shoulder tightness. The 31-year-old was on a rehab assignment working his way back but it does not appear the Mariners had plans to bring him back into the fold. Fantasy managers should feel safe moving on from Giles.
