Nick Fortes went 2-for-3 with a pair of singles, a walk, and a run scored in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Braves.
Fantasy Impact:
Nick Fortes continues to handle the bat pretty well in his opportunities against big-league pitching this year. The young backstop now carries a .748 OPS with seven homers and five steals across 163 plate appearances on the season for the Marlins. He has received increased playing time over the past month or so and could be a worthwhile pickup right now at the shallow position.
