Luis Patino allowed three runs, five hits, and three walks over five innings of work against the Red Sox on Monday. He also struck out four batters but did not factor into the final decision. Tampa Bay ultimately defeated Boston by a score of 4-3 in the series opener.

Patino is 1-1 with a 4.34 ERA, 1.61 WHIP, and .280 OBA through five starts in the majors this season. He has also posted 5.30 K/9 and 4.34 BB/9. The right-hander has shuttled between Triple-A and MLB this year, and he'll likely be optioned to Durham again on Tuesday.
