Brady Singer pitched six innings, allowing zero runs on five hits and one walk while striking out five in Kansas City’s 9-0 win against the Red Sox on Saturday.

Saturday marked the sixth time this season Singer has pitched 6-plus innings and not allowed a run. Singer won his fifth straight decision and in his last eight starts he is 5-0 with a 1.98 ERA in 50 innings. Singer improves to 9-4 with a 3.07 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, and 136 strikeouts in 140 2/3 innings across 25 appearances (22 starts) this season. Singer will try for his 10th win of the year in his next start on Friday against the Mariners.
