Domingo Acevedo picks up second straight save Wednesday night

by Josh Thiessen | Athletics Correspondent | Thu, Sep 22nd 12:29pm EDT

Domingo Acevedo pitched the ninth inning on Wednesday, striking out one, and giving up one hit for zero earned runs as he picked up the save in the A's 2-1 win over the Mariners.

Fantasy Impact:

Acevedo has seemingly taken the spot as the teams closer as of late as he has picked up the save in all of the last four games he has pitched. The A's reliever has pitched with an adequate ERA that sits at 3.34, which goes along with his WHIP of 0.97. The 28-year-old is definitely someone who should be rostered in dynasty or who should be monitored for redraft for the 2023 season.
