Jonathan Heasley pitched six innings, allowing one run on two hits and two walks while striking out three in Kansas City’s 4-1 win against the Twins on Thursday.

Heasley registered his 7th quality start of the season and his third in four starts in September. Heasley earned his second victory of September and third win in his last five starts. Since returning to the big league club on August 23, Heasley is 3-1 with a 3.51 ERA across six starts. Heasley improves to 4-8 with a 4.87 ERA, 1.45 WHIP, and 65 strikeouts in 94 1/3 innings across 19 starts this season. Heasley’s next start is scheduled for Wednesday against the Tigers.
