Domingo Acevedo struggled through 2/3 of an inning in relief Friday, allowing one run on one hit while also striking out two and losing in relief to the Mariners, 2-1.
Fantasy Impact:
Acevedo allowed runs for just the second time in nine September relief appearances for the A's, posting a 1.50 WHIP and 8K/3BB ratio in that span. The right-hander carries a 0.97 WHIP and 3.43 ERA with 57 strikeouts and for saves in 68 relief appearances this season.
