Sean Hjelle did not factor into the decision after allowing four hits and one walk while striking out eight in five scoreless innings of Monday's 7-4 loss to the Padres.
Fantasy Impact:
After San Francisco once again used an opener on Monday, and Hjelle took over in the second inning and dominated during his outing. The 25-year-old has looked good in this role as the season has come to an end, as this is his third straight outing allowing two earned runs or less. The righthander will cap off his 2022 season with a 1-2 record in 25 innings pitched, turning in a 5.76 ERA and a WHIP of 1.64.
