Fantasy Impact:
Jimenez was once a big power-hitting prospect for the White Sox, and he flashed that potential with 31 home runs in his rookie season of 2019. He followed that up with 14 home runs and a .295 average in the COVID-shortened 2020 campaign. Since then, however, Jimenez has been hampered by injuries and lack of playing time and did not appear in a major league game in 2025. Still only 29, Jimenez has hit 95 career home runs in 534 games in parts of six major league seasons. Though it will take a great spring for Jimenez to find himself on Toronto's opening day roster, this is a low-risk, high-reward signing for the Blue Jays.
