Joey Bart went 1-for-4 with a two-RBI single in Monday's 7-4 loss to the Padres.
Bart accounted for half of the team's RBIs on Monday, all of which came in the top of the ninth inning. The catcher is wrapping up a very disappointing season after coming into the year with high expectations as the starting backstop. In 95 games played, the 25-year-old is hitting .216 with 11 homers and 25 RBIs. He will likely get another shot at the everyday catcher role in 2023 with the Giants.
