Matt Harrison gets hit hard in season debut

Matt Harrison, making his first start since undergoing spinal fusion surgery, was hit hard by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the Rangers 7-4 loss today. Harrison allowed six hits and six earned runs in just four innings of work. He walked three and struck out just one.
Fantasy Impact:
This should not come as a shock to anyone. Harrison's rehab starts in the minors were not impressive either, but GM Jon Daniels felt it was time to bring him up and see how he would compete against major league hitters. It didn't work out well today, but he is trying to overcome a lot and it might take him a few starts to work out the kinks.
