Kike Hernandez is "poised" to be Boston's starting shortstop on Opening Day, according to comments made by manager Alex Cora during the organization's Winter Weekend event. (Ian Browne)

Fantasy Impact:

An injury limited Hernandez to just 93 games in 2022. He struggled offensively, slashing .222/.291/.338 with an 8.5 BB%, 17.7 K%, .116 ISO, and 75 wRC+. Going forward, the 31-year-old should see more infield work for Boston, which has lost Xander Bogaerts to free agency and Trevor Story to an elbow injury.
