Gleyber Torres avoided arbitration with the New York Yankees, agreeing to a one-year, $9.95 million deal for the 2023 season. (Mark Feinsand on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Torres had been seeking an agreement at $10.2 million while the club was hovering around $9.7 million, ultimately leading to the two sides splitting the difference. Torres rediscovered his power stroke last season, clubbing 24 home runs to go along with 28 doubles and 76 runs batted in while posting a .761 OPS in 140 games last season.
