Tony Gonsolin avoids arbitration with two-year deal

The Los Angeles Dodgers have signed pitcher Tony Gonsolin to a two-year contract to avoid arbitration. (Los Angeles Dodgers on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

The deal is worth $6.65 million as the 2022 All-Star avoids a hearing with the Dodgers. Gonsolin has evolved into a premier starter over the last few seasons, finally getting full-time usage in 2022. Gonsolin turned in a dominant 2.14 ERA across 24 starts while his 130 1/3 innings pitched nearly matched his total from the previous three seasons combined. Gonsolin also went a whopping 16-1 a season ago and should be a serious target on draft day.
