Kyle Tucker has been in contact with the Astros regarding a potential contract extension. (Brian McTaggart on MLB.com)

Astros GM Dana Brown revealed that he has been in discussions with Tucker with his arbitration approaching. He also added that there were discussions prior to his arrival in Houston as well. The 26-year-old had another solid season in 2022 with a .348 wOBA and .808 OPS and would benefit from staying in the powerful Astros lineup for the long haul.
