In touching on several Mariners injury updates, general manager Jerry Dipito told the media Moore could be somewhat limited early in spring training workouts but did not want to create a concern regarding Opening Day. Moore hit six homers with 21 stolen bases and a .753 OPS across 104 games in 2022 and could see playing time at every non-pitching position save for catcher and perhaps center field for the Mariners in 2023.
