Ken Giles to hold throwing session Wednesday

Fantasy Impact:
Injuries -- including Tommy John surgery -- have essentially wiped out each of Giles' last three seasons as he's pitched just eight MLB innings since the start of 2020. His last full season was sheer dominance, however, as he worked to a 1.87 ERA and 39.9% K% while saving 23 games across 53 appearances for the 2019 Toronto Blue Jays. With at least 15 teams expected to attend his workout, it's reasonable to expect Giles to land at least a minor-league deal with an invite to MLB spring training.
