Luke Bard signs minor-league deal with Blue Jays

The Toronto Blue Jays have signed relief pitcher Luke Bard to a minor-league deal with an invitation to MLB spring training. (MLB.com)

After entering the league with the Angels in the 2018 season, Bard has made 55 career appearances, but just 15 over the last two seasons. The 32-year-old right-hander owns a career 4.44 ERA across 81 innings but posted a strong 1.80 mark across 15 innings split between the Rays and Yankees in 2022. He's likely to serve as Triple-A bullpen depth to begin the season.
