Fantasy Baseball Two-Start Pitcher Lookahead: Week 5
There aren’t too many aces with double starts in Week 5. Here are the pitchers with two starts who are pretty universally rostered (>80%):
- Max Fried (SP – NYY): 99% | @ TEX; vs. BAL
- Joe Ryan (SP – MIN): 98% | vs. SEA; vs. TOR
- Chase Burns (SP – CIN): 89% | vs. COL; @ PIT
- Luis Castillo (SP – SEA): 84% | @ MIN; vs. KCR
Two-Start Rostered Pitchers Notes
- Chase Burns gets a dream matchup against the Rockies away from Coors Field. Colorado strikes out the most against right-handed pitchers, and Burns is an elite strikeout pitcher.
- Luis Castillo has been inconsistent to start the season, but he gets two decent matchups against American League Central teams. It hasn’t been only bad luck, but his .403 batting average on balls in play (BABIP) hasn’t done him any favors.

Two-Start Streamer Options Notes
- Clay Holmes gets two solid matchups. The Angels strike out the fourth-most against righties, and the Nationals aren’t too scary despite leading the league in runs scored.
- Spencer Arrighetti returned from the injured list (IL) and dominated in his first start back. The Orioles and Red Sox rank in the bottom 10 in strikeout rate against righties.
